For electric bikes, there is a covered, secure storage area in the garden. Charging is free.

Yes! The bus stop “Boskrane” is just 120 m away (1-minute walk) from our B&B. From there, you can catch:
Bus 72 towards Sint-Annaparochie–Leeuwarden every 60 minutes
Bus 73 towards Oudebildtzijl–Leeuwarden every 30 minutes
Within an 8-minute walk (650 m), you’ll find the “Lege Hearewei” bus stop, where you can catch:
Bus 60 towards Dokkum–Leeuwarden, every 15 minutes
Stiens is located along the route of the Elfstedentocht, between Dokkum and Franeker. You can complete this route on foot or by bike throughout the year.
